What should I bring to class?

Please wear INDOOR SHOES for class You should always bring WATER and comfortable dance attire – YOU be YOU! (ex. Sweat pants, tees, tanks, etc.)
What is Dance Studio-Pro?

Dance Studio-Pro is where we do all our registration and payment set-up. Register for classes, set up Auto-Pay, statements, etc... You can access Dance Studio-Pro online or download their app on the App Store.
Can I just drop into a class?

YES! Our program is designed to suit any commitment level. We have drop-ins from Monday to Thursday every week for 4 years old to Adults. Check out our schedule, colour coded based on age. All classes are drop-ins EXCEPT for the BLACK and GREY colour coded!
What happens if I'm running late for class?

Please be on time for class! Being on time for class ensures that you have a proper warm up and that the teacher has a chance to start class with everyone there. While we understand that life happens and everyone has times that they are running late, we do our best to start class on time. Students who are more than 15 minutes late for class will not be admitted to class.
How young can I start my child at Drop It Studios?

The youngest dancers at Drop It Studios are 2 years old!
Is it possible to try a class before registering?

YES! We encourage all new clients to try a class out before committing for a full season. We offer a $20 week trial! You get to try ALL the drop-in classes for your age group in that week.
When does registration start for COMPETITIVE and our REC programs?

Registration will generally start at least a month and a half before every season/half season. We do open early registration to our returning students for an exclusive short period of time. Once they have had a chance to rebook if they choose, we open registration to the public! Start of the season begins in September, second half of the season begins in January.
Can parents watch the classes?

To minimize distractions we ask that parents drop dancers and leave. The instructor will invite parents in when they are ready. We leave this to our instructors discretion. We also frequently post class videos to our social media, so please watch and share!
When are monthly payments due?

If you are signed up for Auto-Pay for payment processing, fees are processed on the 1st of each month. If you are not signed up for Auto-Pay, monthly payments are subject to a late fee after the 10th of each month.

Registration fee $50(For all new Clients) Monthly Tuition Fee - Different for each crew (View prices under Classes or Dance Studio Pro) Costume Fee - $150 (Only outfit included: Sneakers are bought by dancer) ($100 only for Aqua Groovers) Photoshoot/Video Fee - $50 (Photos for dancer and Video of the year end show) (Paid throughout the season)
What are ALL the fees for the COMPETITIVE program for the whole season?

Registration fee $50(For all new Clients) Monthly Tuition Fee - Different for each crew (View prices under Classes or Dance Studio Pro) Costume Fee - $150 (Only outfit included: Sneakers are bought by dancer) Competition Fee - $300 (Includes 3 competitions) Workshop Fee - $450 (Covers 2 Mandatory Workshops taught by the pioneers of Hip Hop) Photoshoot/Video Fee - $50 (Photos for dancer and Video of the year end show) (Paid throughout the season)
Are all classes mandatory?

NO! Only your CREW classes are mandatory where you build and clean routines, colour coded Black and Grey on our schedule. All other classes are optional!
